Jessica Steinbomer

Certified Hakomi Practitioner

Hi, I’m Jessica Steinbomer, a Certified Hakomi Practitioner, Teacher, and Mentor. For more than 20 years, I’ve guided individuals, couples, and communities in reconnecting with their intuition and innate healing capacity.

My work weaves together Hakomi, Zen Buddhism, traditional and Thai yoga, trauma-informed somatics, contemplative movement, and the Akashic Records—a way of listening to the deeper field of information that connects all things.

“Think of the Akashic Records as a living web of information—what physics calls energy and data, what mystics call memory. By tuning in through mindfulness, we touch the larger intelligence that holds us all.”

From a scientific perspective, this idea mirrors what quantum physics and information theory suggest—that everything in the universe is energy and information that never disappears, only transforms. When we attune to that field through mindfulness, compassion, and embodied awareness, we can access insights that help us heal and grow in profoundly integrated ways.

I teach yoga and Zen, facilitate leadership development groups, and lead retreats and workshops that support personal and collective well-being. Drawing on my background as a UX Research Director and Leadership Consultant, I bring mindful awareness, deep observation, and compassionate inquiry into organizational and leadership settings—helping people lead with authenticity, presence, and emotional intelligence.

At the heart of my work is a belief that healing, leadership, and community all emerge from our capacity to be present and connected with what’s here. As a co-author of The Heart of UX, and a long-time meditator, mother, and community builder, I bring both practical insight and spiritual depth to those called to lead, create, and live from embodied wholeness.
